Refund policy
1) Scope and Product Categories
For purposes of this Policy, products are grouped as follows:

DTF / UV Transfers (printed transfers and related transfer products)

Customized Products (custom-printed goods such as apparel, promotional products, and marketing/print collateral)

Digital Products (downloadable/electronically delivered assets)
-
Blank Products (unprinted, non-custom goods)
-
Memberships (subscription plans)
If an item fits more than one category, DIY Printz will apply the category with the most restrictive return/refund rules (for example, a custom-printed item is treated as a Customized Product).
2) DTF / UV Transfers (Final Sale; Limited Reprint Remedy)
DTF and UV transfer products are custom-produced and are therefore final sale and non-refundable, except where a verified production defect is confirmed by DIY Printz.
A. Artwork and File Responsibility
You are responsible for providing print-ready artwork that meets our specifications. DIY Printz is not responsible for quality issues resulting from:

Low-resolution files, pixelation, or compression artifacts
-
Incorrect dimensions, bleed, or transparent background errors
-
Poor contrast, unintended color profiles, or missing elements
-
Fonts not outlined or design elements that are not embedded properly (when applicable)
B. What Qualifies as a Transfer Defect (Subject to Review)
DIY Printz may approve a reprint for verified production defects such as:

Significant ink defects, banding, or improper print output attributable to production
-
Incorrect transfer size or wrong file printed when compared to order confirmation
-
Major defects affecting usability (e.g., adhesion layer failure attributable to manufacturing)
-
Transfers damaged in production or packaging before shipment
C. What Does NOT Qualify (Not Eligible for Refund/Reprint)

Issues caused by customer-supplied artwork or design choices
-
Slight color variance (screen-to-print differences and normal print tolerance)
-
Application errors (incorrect heat press temperature/time/pressure, wrong substrate, improper peeling/cure)
-
Washing/care issues after application
-
Preference-based dissatisfaction when produced according to the file submitted
D. Application and Care Disclaimer
Proper application and care are required for durability and performance. DIY Printz is not responsible for failures caused by improper application, substrate incompatibility, or post-application care.
3) Customized Products (Apparel, Promotional Products, and Marketing/Print Goods)
Final Sale; Non-Refundable; Reprint Remedy for Verified Quality Issues
Customized Products include any custom-printed or custom-produced goods, including but not limited to:

Apparel (shirts, hoodies, uniforms, etc.)
-
Promotional Products (tumblers, bags, hats, giveaway items, etc.)
-
Marketing/Print Goods (flyers, banners, business cards, stickers, signage, and similar print collateral)
Because these products are made to your specifications and cannot be resold, Customized Products are final sale and non-refundable, except where required by law.
A. Proofs, Approvals, and Customer Responsibility

If DIY Printz provides a proof and you approve it, you accept responsibility for the approved layout, spelling, design placement, and content.

If no proof is provided, the production will be based on the artwork/files you submit and the options you select.
B. What May Qualify for a Reprint (Production Quality Issues Only)
DIY Printz may approve a reprint/remake when we verify a production-quality issue such as:

Material defects or production damage affecting usability
-
Major print defects (e.g., significant misregistration, severe banding, unintended streaking, improper finishing)
-
Incorrect item produced compared to the order confirmation
-
Meaningful deviation from the approved proof/specifications due to production error
C. What Does NOT Qualify (No Refund / No Free Reprint)
The following are not eligible for refunds or free reprints:

Customer typos or content errors
-
Incorrect sizes, quantities, colors, or selections entered at checkout
-
Artwork issues originating from customer files (low resolution, wrong format, incorrect transparency, missing bleed)
-
Color differences caused by screen/monitor variance
-
Minor color/placement variation consistent with production tolerances
-
Wear/tear or damage after delivery
-
Issues caused by improper use, washing, or care
-
“Change of mind” or redesign requests after production begins
D. Reprint Rules (Approval Required)
-
All reprints require DIY Printz approval.
-
DIY Printz may require return/inspection before approving a reprint.
-
Reprints are produced to match the original approved proof/specifications.
-
Reprints may be limited to the affected units/quantity only.
4) Digital Products (Final Sale / Non-Refundable)
All Digital Products are final sale and non-refundable because digital assets cannot be returned.
Delivery/File Issues: If a file is corrupted, incomplete, or not delivered correctly, DIY Printz will re-send the file and/or provide a corrected replacement file, as applicable.
5) Blank Products (7-Day Returns; Restocking Fee Applies)
Blank Products (unprinted, non-custom goods) may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
A. Return Eligibility Conditions

Item must be unworn, unwashed, unused, unprinted, and unaltered

Item must be returned in original packaging with tags/labels (if applicable)
-
Item must be in resalable condition (no odors, stains, lint, pet hair, or signs of wear)
B. Restocking Fee
Approved blank returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee (inspection, processing, repackaging).
C. Return Shipping
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless DIY Printz verifies an error attributable to us.
6) Memberships (Non-Refundable; Cancel Anytime; Effective Next Billing Cycle)
Membership fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time; however:

Membership remains active through the current paid month

Cancellation takes effect for the next billing cycle (the following month)
-
No prorated refunds are issued
7) Return and Refund Process (Last Section)
A. Inspection and Notification Deadlines

Quality/Order issues: Must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery

Shipping damage: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
B. Required Documentation
All requests must include:

Item(s) affected and quantity

Detailed description of the issue

Clear photo/video evidence

Photos of packaging and shipping label when applicable
C. Return Authorization (RMA) Required
Returns require an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Unauthorized returns may be refused.
D. Refund Method and Limitations
If a refund is approved (where applicable):

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection/approval

Original shipping/handling is non-refundable except where required by law or where DIY Printz verifies an error attributable to us
