This guide breaks down the exact steps we recommend for real-world results whether you’re pressing T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, uniforms, or performance wear. When you follow the right combination of heat, firm even pressure, proper timing, and a clean peel, your transfers apply smoothly and your finished apparel looks professional job after job, wash after wash.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Nylon Fabrics: Apply at 260-265°F (127-129°C) for 6-8 seconds.
  • First Wash: Wait at least 24 hours after application before the first wash.
  • Do not apply these heat press designs to sublimated jerseys. Prevents dye migration and print issues.
  • Challenging Materials: Not recommended on fabrics with coatings (silicone, water-resistant, certain nylon blends) or highly textured/elastic fabrics.

How To Apply UV Sticker Transfers

Here is a step by step to ensure you get the perfect results when transfering UV DTF Transfers.

Clean the surface

Wipe the application area with alcohol or a lint-free cloth.

Peel the Backing Film

Gently remove the backing, exposing the adhesive design.

Position and Press

Align the sticker and press firmly using your fingers or a squeegee.

Peel the Carrier Film

Carefully peel off the top film layer, leaving your design on the surface.
