WHOLESALE SAME DAY

DTF TRANSFERS

Same Day DTF Transfers Auto Gang Sheet is made for customers who are new to DTF or tired of manually building gang sheets. If you want a clean, simple way to create a print-ready gang sheet without design software, this is the fastest path from artwork to press-ready transfers.

Instead of spending hours arranging files in Photoshop or guessing layout spacing, you can build everything in one place. The Auto Gang Sheet Builder lets you upload designs, choose your final imprint size, set quantities, and preview your layout before ordering. This workflow is built for DIY customers who want professional results without a steep learning curve.

Same Day DTF Transfers Auto Gang Sheet works by turning your uploaded logos and artwork into a builder-generated layout on our standard 22" wide format. The builder automatically nests designs to fit efficiently, helping reduce waste and improve value especially when you’re ordering multiple logos, labels, or repeats for production.

If you’ve ever ordered transfers and realized your sizes were off, your sheet wasn’t spaced well, or you needed to re-upload everything, this solves that problem. You size each design visually to the exact finished print size you want, duplicate it for the quantity you need, then approve the final arrangement before checkout.

Same Day DTF Transfers Auto Gang Sheet is ideal when you want speed and simplicity without sacrificing clarity. Once you approve your layout, we print your DTF transfers from the builder-generated gang sheet so you can press and fulfill orders confidently whether you’re making shirts for yourself, testing a new design, or running small batches for customers.

Step 2

Place Your Transfer

Position the DIY Printz transfer face down on your garment. Align it exactly where you want the design. Use heat-resistant tape to hold it in place if needed.

Step 3

Heat Press at 300°F–325°F

DTF Transfers

Gang Sheet Builder FAQ

Common questions about DTF transfers, pressing, application, and care.

What are DTF Transfers?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full-color, durable heat-applied designs printed on film and transferred onto garments using a heat press. They work on a wide range of fabrics and are ideal for logos, graphics, and gang sheets.

What do I need to apply a DTF Transfer?

You’ll need:

  • A heat press (recommended over a household iron)
  • Parchment paper or Teflon sheet
  • Scissors or a cutter to trim the transfer
  • A flat, firm pressing surface (avoid uneven boards)
What are the pressing settings for DTF Transfers?

Below are reliable starting settings. Always preheat the garment 3–5 seconds, press on a firm, level surface, and use even pressure.

Cotton

  • Temp: 300°F
  • Time: 10 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium / firm
  • Peel: Hot peel or cold peel (based on film)

Polyester

  • Temp: 280–290°F
  • Time: 10–12 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium
  • Peel: Cold peel preferred (reduces risk of dye migration)

Spandex (and stretch blends)

  • Temp: 285–295°F
  • Time: 10–12 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium (avoid over-compressing stretch fabric)
  • Peel: Cold peel preferred

Nylon

  • Temp: 260–275°F
  • Time: 10–15 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium-firm
  • Peel: Cold peel recommended
  • Important: Nylon can be challenging—use a test press first.

Denim

  • Temp: 300°F
  • Time: 12–15 seconds
  • Pressure: Firm
  • Peel: Hot or cold peel (based on film)

Tip: Use a pressing pillow or pad to level seams if needed.

Finishing Press (ALL materials)

Cover with parchment/Teflon and press 5 seconds at the same temperature using medium pressure.

Hot peel or cold peel what’s the difference?

Hot peel: Peel immediately after pressing. Faster workflow.

Cold peel: Let cool about 60 seconds before peeling. Often gives a cleaner release, especially on polyester, stretch fabrics, and nylon.

Why didn’t my transfer stick or why is it lifting?

Common causes:

  • Not enough pressure
  • Pressing too short or too cool
  • Press surface not flat (seams, zippers, collars)
  • Skipping the preheat or finishing press

Fix: Repress with the film in place for a few seconds and peel again.

Can I use a household iron instead of a heat press?

DIY Printz strongly recommends a heat press. Irons don’t provide consistent temperature or pressure, which can cause lifting, cracking, or poor durability.

Do I need to trim the transfer?

Yes. Trim off any extra film edges and remove any registration strips or order/ID markings. Anything left around the artwork can bond to the garment.

What garments work best with DTF Transfers?

DTF works well on cotton, polyester, blends, denim, and many performance fabrics. For tricky materials like nylon, testing a small area first is the smartest move.

How should I wash and dry garments with DTF Transfers?
  • Turn inside out
  • Machine wash cold
  • No bleach, no fabric softener
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Avoid dry cleaning
  • Do not iron directly on the design
How do I store my DTF Transfers?

Store transfers flat, in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and direct sunlight. Avoid bending or rolling tightly to prevent creasing.
