This product is for creators and small businesses who already have a print-ready UV sticker gang sheet and want professional UV DTF transfers (UV decals) printed fast and ready to apply.

UV DTF transfers are commonly described as UV-cured designs printed onto an adhesive film (often referred to as UV DTF decals/stickers) that apply to smooth hard surfaces no heat press required.

If you’ve already laid out your artwork into a gang sheet at the exact size you need, simply upload your finished file, select the size sheet you've created and we’ll print your sheet as press-free, peel-and-stick UV transfers.

What these UV transfers are best for

Common use cases include:

  • Tumblers, cups, glassware, mugs (hand-wash recommended for longevity)
  • Water bottles, phone cases, acrylic, coated plastics
  • Laptops, packaging, product branding, hard goods labels. UV DTF transfers are widely recommended for glass, metal, plastic, and wood (sealed/finished) surfaces.

Not for fabric: UV DTF transfers are intended for hard surfaces—not garments (DTF for apparel is a different product category).

Why UV DTF over regular stickers or vinyl

  • No weeding or cutting around the design: UV DTF is applied as a transfer/decal film, which reduces the manual work typical of vinyl.
  • Premium finish on hard goods: The result looks more “applied” than a typical sticker edge when installed correctly.
  • Fast to apply: Most instructions emphasize squeegee/burnish, peel, apply, and cure—no heat required.

Upload requirements (important)

This is a print-ready upload product—we print exactly what you submit (no art edits).

  • Upload a high-resolution, print-ready gang sheet
  • Match your file canvas size to the sheet size you’re ordering
  • Use clean artwork with proper spacing and safe margins

How to apply UV DTF transfers (simple steps)

For best adhesion and a clean finish:

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly (remove dust/oils)
  2. Position your decal and burnish/squeegee to ensure adhesion
  3. Peel as instructed and apply smoothly to avoid bubbles
  4. Burnish again, then remove the carrier film
  5. Let it cure/rest—many application guides recommend allowing time for adhesive to set (often around 24 hours) before heavy handling or washing.

Care note (keeps you honest + avoids risky claims)

Many sellers use phrases like “dishwasher safe,” but industry guidance varies; some recommend hand-washing for maximum longevity and note that harsh dishwasher cycles can weaken adhesion over time.

Accurate Sizing (Print at Final Dimensions)

Build your artwork at the exact size you want it printed. Do not rely on scaling after upload resizing can reduce sharpness and alter layout.

Do not submit mirrored artwork unless you specifically need a reversed print. Mirrored files can cause output errors and incorrect orientation during production.

Minimum Resolution: 300 DPI (at Actual Print Size)

For crisp edges and clean detail, artwork must be 300 DPI at the final print dimensions. Lower resolution files may appear blurry, pixelated, or soft once printed and pressed.

Preferred File Types

For the most accurate print results, submit:

  • Vector files (best for logos and sharp text)
  • PDF
  • PNG (transparent background)

These formats preserve quality and reduce the risk of unwanted artifacts.

File Preparation & Handling

Combine All Elements Into One Print File

If your design includes multiple imported graphics, merge them into a single, properly arranged file to ensure consistent spacing and continuous printing—especially for gang sheets.

Use Transparent Backgrounds (No Solid Blocks Unless Intended)

Keep backgrounds transparent whenever possible for a cleaner final application. Avoid placing artwork on a colored canvas or adding a background layer unless you want that background printed.

Convert All Text to Outlines/Paths

Convert fonts to outlines (paths/curves) before submitting. This prevents font substitution, missing characters, and layout shifts, ensuring your design prints exactly as intended.

What you need

  • Lint-free cloth + rubbing alcohol (isopropyl)
  • Squeegee / felt squeegee (or a credit card)
  • Scissors (optional)

Many UV DTF decals are permanent once they touch the surface, so placement matters.

Step-by-step (clean, stick, press, peel, cure)

  1. Clean the surface

Wipe with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth (remove oils/dust), then let it dry fully.
  2. Pre-squeegee the decal (important)

Before peeling anything, firmly rub/squeegee across the design so it fully bonds to the clear carrier film.
  3. Peel the backing (white sheet)

Peel the white backing away from the clear carrier so the design stays on the clear film.

    Don’t touch the adhesive side.
  4. Position carefully

Set the clear carrier (adhesive side down) where you want it.

Do not “test place” repositioning can weaken adhesion and some suppliers warn not to lift once it touches.
  5. Press/squeegee from center outward

Use firm, even pressure; push bubbles out to the edges.
  6. Peel the clear carrier slowly

Peel slowly (often recommended around a 45° angle).

If any part lifts: lay the film back down, re-squeegee, and continue.
  7. Let it cure

Let the decal cure 24–48 hours before heavy handling or washing.

Some instructions note any excess adhesive can be cleaned after ~24 hours.

Curved items (cups/tumblers): the method that prevents wrinkles

  • For large designs, start laying it from one side to the other to control placement and reduce bubbles/wrinkles.
  • Pro tip: leave a corner unpressed so you have an easy “tab” to peel the carrier.

Fast troubleshooting

  • Design lifts while peeling: stop, lay carrier back down, press harder, peel slower from a different angle.
  • Bubbles: re-squeegee from the center outward with firmer pressure.
  • Not sticking in spots: re-lay film and keep rubbing before continuing the peel.
  • Misalignment: unfortunately, most UV DTF decals are effectively permanent once set avoid repositioning.

UV Stickers (also called UV Transfers or UV DTF decals) are premium, full-color decals made for smooth, hard surfaces. They apply like a transfer: you place the design, press it down, then peel the clear film—leaving the design on the item.

They work best on smooth, clean, hard surfaces like:

  • Glass, acrylic, metal, plastic
  • Painted surfaces (fully cured)
  • Sealed/finished wood

They do not stick well to textured, dusty, oily, rubbery, or fabric surfaces.

They are designed to be long-lasting with strong adhesive. Once applied correctly, they are difficult to remove without damaging the decal (and sometimes the surface), so placement matters.

  1. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
  2. Rub/squeegee the decal firmly before peeling.
  3. Peel the white backing off (design stays on clear film)
  4. Place on item and press firmly from center outward.
  5. Peel the clear film slowly (re-press if anything lifts)

Usually no. Once the adhesive makes contact, trying to lift and reposition can reduce adhesion or stretch the design. We recommend lining it up carefully before pressing down.

Let the decal cure for 24–48 hours before heavy handling or washing. The longer it cures, the stronger the bond.

They are water-resistant, but for longest life we recommend:

  • Hand-wash only
  • Avoid soaking for long periods
  • Avoid harsh scrubbing over the decal

Dishwashers, high heat, and strong detergents can shorten the decal’s lifespan.

For bubbles: press firmly and push outward with a squeegee/card.

If it lifts while peeling the clear film: lay the film back down, press hard again, then peel slowly.

Yes. For curved surfaces, apply slowly from one side to the other while pressing as you go. Large designs may require extra patience to prevent wrinkles or bubbles.

Store flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep them in the original sleeve/bag to prevent dust from affecting adhesion.
