This is a print-only service built for production workflows: you upload a finished gang sheet file, and we print it with clean detail, strong color, and consistent output so you can press and fulfill orders confidently.
Featured Snippet Summary
DTF Transfers Custom Gang Sheet by the Inch is a custom-length DTF gang sheet option with a fixed 22" width where you choose the exact length (minimum 12"). It’s designed for customers with a print-ready file who want professional DTF transfers printed to spec, while paying only for the inches they actually need.
Why “By the Inch” is the right choice
- Pay for exactly what you need: Order the precise length instead of jumping to the next preset size.
- Less waste, better margins: Reduce unused film space and improve your cost per print.
- Perfect for odd-length projects: Ideal when your layout doesn’t match standard sheet selections.
- Built for production workflows: Great for DTF printers outsourcing overflow or keeping orders moving fast.
Upload requirements (important)
You must upload a print-ready gang sheet—we print exactly what you submit. For the fastest turnaround and the cleanest results, confirm your file matches the selected dimensions before uploading.
- Canvas size: 22" wide × your selected length
- Minimum length: 12"
- Resolution: High-resolution artwork recommended (commonly 300 DPI for raster)
- Safe margins: Keep critical elements away from the edges for trimming safety
- Spacing: Leave comfortable space between designs for trimming (recommended when possible)
- Accuracy note: Color can vary slightly due to monitor/press/garment differences (normal in apparel production)
Who this is for
- DTF printers using transfers for overflow, consistency, or scale without downtime
- Graphic designers who already sized and nested artwork and need it printed
- Apparel decorators & brands who want press-ready transfers without managing print equipment
Best use cases
- Multi-design sheets for daily production
- Custom brand drops & merch runs
- Team, event, and promo apparel
- Small batches, reorders, and on-demand jobs
Helpful tips for cleaner results
- Build at final size: Ensure the gang sheet is created at the exact width (22") and your chosen length.
- Avoid ultra-thin lines: Extremely thin strokes and tiny text can lose clarity after pressing—use adequate thickness and contrast.
- Use transparent backgrounds: If submitting PNG artwork, verify transparency to avoid unwanted boxes behind designs.
Order DTF Transfers Custom Gang Sheet by the Inch when you want maximum control over length, minimal waste, and professional print execution from a press-ready file. Select your length, upload your finished gang sheet, and keep production moving with predictable results.
ART SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Accurate Sizing (Print at Final Dimensions)
Build your artwork at the exact size you want it printed. Do not rely on scaling after upload resizing can reduce sharpness and alter layout.
Do not submit mirrored artwork unless you specifically need a reversed print. Mirrored files can cause output errors and incorrect orientation during production.
Minimum Resolution: 300 DPI (at Actual Print Size)
For crisp edges and clean detail, artwork must be 300 DPI at the final print dimensions. Lower resolution files may appear blurry, pixelated, or soft once printed and pressed.
Preferred File Types
For the most accurate print results, submit:
- Vector files (best for logos and sharp text)
- PDF
- PNG (transparent background)
These formats preserve quality and reduce the risk of unwanted artifacts.
File Preparation & Handling
Combine All Elements Into One Print File
If your design includes multiple imported graphics, merge them into a single, properly arranged file to ensure consistent spacing and continuous printing—especially for gang sheets.
Use Transparent Backgrounds (No Solid Blocks Unless Intended)
Keep backgrounds transparent whenever possible for a cleaner final application. Avoid placing artwork on a colored canvas or adding a background layer unless you want that background printed.
Convert All Text to Outlines/Paths
Convert fonts to outlines (paths/curves) before submitting. This prevents font substitution, missing characters, and layout shifts, ensuring your design prints exactly as intended.

PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS
DTF Transfer Application & Care Guide (Direct-to-Film Gang Sheets)
Before You Press
- Trim the transfer first. Using scissors, cut away any color registration strips and order/ID markings around the artwork. If left on, these extra markings can heat-bond to the garment.
- Preheat the garment (3–5 seconds). This removes moisture and helps the transfer bond more evenly. Let the fabric cool briefly before placing the transfer.
Positioning the Transfer
- Place the transfer on the garment with the white side down and the image facing up.
- Ensure the transfer is flat and properly aligned before pressing.
Press Settings (Recommended)
- Temperature: 300°F
- Time: 10 seconds
- Pressure: Medium (firm, even pressure)
Consistent temperature, time, and pressure are key to long-lasting adhesion especially on cotton and cotton blends.
Peel Options
Choose the peel method that matches your film type and preference:
- Hot Peel: Peel the film immediately after opening the heat press.
- Cold Peel: Allow the film to cool for about 60 seconds, then peel.
Finishing Press (Strongly Recommended)
- Cover the design with parchment paper (or a Teflon sheet, butcher paper, or tissue paper).
- Press again for 5 seconds using the same temperature and pressure.
- This step improves durability, wash resistance, and finish.
If the Transfer Doesn’t Release Cleanly
If the film doesn’t peel off completely:
- Lay the film back down in place, press again for a few seconds, then peel again (hot or cold depending on your method).
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
For Best Longevity
- Turn garment inside out before washing and drying.
- Machine wash cold.
- Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Tumble dry low or hang dry.
Avoid
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not iron directly on the design (if ironing is needed, keep the garment inside out and avoid the print area).
