Fitness merch works best when it is fast, practical, and easy to reorder
Fitness studios, gyms, training groups, and sports teams need merch that moves as fast as their schedule. A new class launch, team tournament, challenge week, pop-up workout, or member event can come together quickly, and waiting days for transfers can slow down the whole plan.
Same day DTF transfers and UV transfers give fitness brands a flexible way to create apparel and hard-good add-ons without buying extra equipment. DTF transfers cover shirts, hoodies, jerseys, towels, and apparel placements. UV transfers cover water bottles, tumblers, shaker bottles, acrylic displays, packaging, and smooth hard goods.
DIY Printz helps Broward County fitness studios, sports teams, print shops, screen printers, embroidery shops, clothing brands, and DIY customers get fast transfer production with local pickup options. We focus on DTF transfers and UV transfers and are open until 9pm Monday through Friday for customers who need production support after normal business hours.
Use DTF transfers for team apparel and gym drops
DTF transfers are full-color heat press transfers for apparel. They are useful when you need a small run, a rush order, detailed artwork, several placements, or a quick restock without committing to a large production batch.
- Training shirts: Create branded tees for classes, trainers, teams, and staff.
- Challenge merch: Launch limited apparel for fitness challenges, bootcamps, competitions, and milestone events.
- Team gear: Make shirts, hoodies, jerseys, and warm-up apparel for local sports groups.
- Member drops: Test small merch releases before ordering a larger batch.
- Multiple placements: Put front prints, sleeve hits, back prints, and neck labels on the same gang sheet.
If your file is already print-ready, order Same Day DTF Transfers. If you have separate design files and want a faster layout workflow, use the Same Day DTF Transfers Auto Gang Sheet Builder.

Use UV transfers for bottles, tumblers, and gym hard goods
UV transfers are peel-and-stick style UV DTF decals made for smooth hard surfaces. They do not require a heat press, which makes them useful for adding branding to bottles, tumblers, shaker cups, acrylic signs, packaging, and product displays.
They are best for glass, metal, acrylic, coated plastic, sealed wood, tumblers, water bottles, jars, phone cases, product boxes, and other smooth hard goods. They are not made for fabric or garments, so apparel should be handled with DTF transfers instead.
- Water bottles: Create branded bottles for members, athletes, staff, and giveaways.
- Shaker bottles: Add gym branding for nutrition programs, challenges, or retail shelves.
- Tumblers: Build premium merch for coaches, clients, and team parents.
- Acrylic displays: Add branding to tabletop stands, front desk signs, and event displays.
- Packaging: Brand boxes, bags, jars, and product packaging for supplements, snacks, or launch kits.
For hard-good branding, upload your finished file through UV Transfers Upload UV Sticker Gang Sheet.
Build a simple fitness merch bundle
The easiest way to sell or distribute merch is to build a bundle around one event or purpose. That could be a new class, tournament, member challenge, fundraiser, open house, trainer launch, or team season.
- Member challenge bundle: DTF shirts, UV water bottle decals, and acrylic display decals for the front desk.
- Team tournament bundle: DTF jerseys or warm-up shirts plus UV tumbler decals for players and families.
- Trainer launch bundle: Branded shirts, shaker bottle decals, and product packaging decals.
- Retail shelf bundle: DTF hoodies, UV bottle decals, and branded packaging for add-on products.
- Pop-up workout bundle: Event shirts, UV cup decals, and small display pieces for the check-in table.
Bundles keep the order focused and make it easier to reorder what works. If the shirts sell out but bottles move slower, you can reorder only the DTF transfers. If the bottles become popular, you can reorder UV decals without changing the whole campaign.
How to prepare DTF artwork for fitness apparel
Same day DTF production works best when the artwork is already final. The file should be sized, spaced, and arranged before checkout so the order can move straight into production.
- Use PNG with a transparent background or a clean print-ready PDF.
- Build artwork at 300 DPI at the final print size.
- Leave about 0.35 inches between designs for trimming.
- Do not mirror the artwork unless a reversed print is specifically needed.
- Convert text to outlines or paths before uploading vector artwork.
- Group placements by workflow: front print, back print, sleeve hit, neck label, jersey placement, or towel print.
- Match the canvas size to the sheet size being ordered.
DIY Printz DTF gang sheets use a 22-inch fixed width. If your order needs a custom length, use Custom Same Day DTF Gang Sheet By The Inch.
How to prepare UV artwork for bottles and hard goods
For UV transfers, measure the item before you build the sheet. A decal for a tumbler may not fit a shaker bottle, water bottle, acrylic sign, or package the same way. Build each decal at the exact final size and combine them into one UV sticker gang sheet.
- Use 300 DPI at the final print dimensions.
- Use transparent backgrounds whenever possible.
- Use vector artwork or clean PNG files.
- Convert text to outlines or paths before submitting vector files.
- Do not submit mirrored artwork unless it is intentionally reversed.
- Leave clean spacing between decals for trimming.
- Group decals by item type: water bottles, shakers, tumblers, packaging, acrylic, or displays.
Application tips for better results
For DTF apparel, pre-press the garment for 3 to 5 seconds to remove moisture, use the recommended time, temperature, and pressure, peel according to the transfer instructions, and finish press with a cover sheet when recommended.
For UV transfers, clean the hard surface with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth, let it dry fully, pre-squeegee the decal, peel the white backing slowly, apply carefully, squeegee from the center outward, peel the clear carrier slowly, and let the item cure for 24 to 48 hours before heavy handling or washing.
For bottles, shakers, and tumblers, hand-washing is recommended for the longest life. Avoid soaking, harsh scrubbing, high heat, and strong detergents over the decal.
Order locally when the deadline is real
Fitness and sports deadlines can move quickly. A tournament, gym launch, member challenge, or pop-up workout might need apparel and hard goods with very little notice.
